Love is in the Air

By: arcel

People always find creative ways to express their feelings. One of the most popular ways, now and back then, is through love letters, and we know it.

What is a love letter?

A love letter is romantic way of saying “I love you” in written form. Love letters may be sent by postal mail, email, or even as text messages. It can be a brief short message about love, or a lengthy discussion of one person’s feelings towards another person.

Before electronic communications, love letters were sent left and right and formed the basic foundation of courtship. Back then there were no cell phones and no emails either. It was only through love letters that lovers separated by war were able to contact each other. Soldiers at the time exchanged addresses with young ladies and sent them love letters to initiate a relationship.

But a love letter isn’t the only way to confess your feelings. You can also say it through love lyrics, love quotes, love poems and love cards.

Love lyrics are the words to a popular love song, love quotes are short sayings delivered in a playful tone, a love card is a type of greeting card given to a special someone, and love poems have been around for so long there’s no reason why anyone wouldn’t be familiar with it. These are just a few of the many creative ways to express your love.

Impress your special girl or boy by sending him, or her, a love letter with an excerpt of a love song at the end that’s taken from a love quote from a famous love poem and written on a love card.
