Most programmers fail at technical programming interviews
for the simple reason that they fail to prepare adequately.
Because most programmers only start preparing for their
interview after they are threatened with the prospect of
losing a job. This strategy usually fails job candidates
because they spend all their time searching for a job and
then try to prepare
for the interview at hand in a couple of days. Some
programmers get away with this because the job opening they
are applying for has got to be filled, therefore they
received a job offer inspite of their poor showing at their

Low self-confidence can drastically reduce or permanently
destroy your chance of getting a programming job.
Hiring manages are wary of hiring computer programmers who
lack confidence in themselves because these programmers
may have lied about their resume; skills, working
experience or qualifications.
The way to handle or manage this is to make sure that you
don't act nervous, speak timidly or become intimidated at
the interview. One technique that can help you is to

Programmers Fail at Technical Job Interviews Because of
Lack of Experience:
In the computer programming industry, real-world working
experience is king. The computer programming industry
prizes on-the-job experience over computer science
education, professional certifications or theoretical
knowledge.
If you really want to clinch your technical programming
job interviews, make sure that you show the hiring
manager or technical interviewer that you have recent,
real-world, demonstrable strong proof that you've actually
worked with the specific software development languages and
processes in question.
By the way, showing data or proof that you've already
gained the experience to do the job you are applying for
makes you credible or elevates your standing, trust and
chances of getting the programming job you applied for.

Help For Programming Job Interviews
I've interviewed with several software development teams
over the ten years for several technical software
development positions.
My background as a contract programmer means that in the
course of a year I may work on several different projects
for several different clients. Before I work with a new
client, I usually have to take and pass several technical
programming interviews, sometimes adding up to 5 different
technical tests.
This means that every year, I have to take dozens of
face-to-face job interviews, phone interviews and online
programming tests in the course of working for one or more
clients.
So, over the years I gained a lot of expertise and
